OCI Percussion will rehearse on Saturdays 10AM-9PM and Sundays 9AM-6PM (not including load/unload; plan for at least 30 minutes before and after rehearsal) at La Quinta High School in Westminster, CA. Full weekend rehearsals begin after Thanksgiving and continue until WGI Championships in April. See the full calendar here.

The tuition for the 2026 season is $3,200, paid in monthly installments from October through March.

This covers:
• Instruction and design
• Competition entry fees
• Uniforms and equipment
• Full travel expenses for WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH

We offer a limited number of fundraising opportunities, and we strongly encourage members to seek sponsorships from family, friends, and other outside sources.

Q: How old do I have to be to audition and perform?
Membership is open to individuals between the ages of 16 and 22.

• You must be at least 16 years old on or after April 1, or

• No older than 22 years old before April 1 of the season.
  That said, students of all ages are welcome to attend auditions for the experience and feedback.

Q: What if I want to perform with a drum and bugle corps?
We encourage participation in drum corps!
We regularly communicate with drum corps staff to help resolve scheduling conflicts, and most corps are flexible with members who also perform in indoor ensembles.

Q: I'm from out of town. How does the audition process work?
No problem! Just email us, and we'll be happy to work with you individually to help arrange a smooth audition experience.
