Cris Vista

Cris Vista has been involved in the marching arts since 2010. He had the privilege of performing with Ayala High School (2015-2019), Sacramento Mandarins (2019-2022), Vessel Percussion (2020-2022), and Broken City 2023.

His passion for teaching began with Canyon Hills Jr. High School in 2018, and then he went on to become the Percussion/Visual Caption Head for Serrano High School from 2021 to 2023.

He has had the privilege of working alongside some of the best educators and designers in the marching arts activity, including Veronica Wicks at South Hills High School (2023-2025) and Steven Herman at Upland High School (2024-2025).

He is currently the Percussion Caption Head at La Quinta High School, and is one of the Battery Managers for Gold Drum and Bugle Corps.

Outside of the performing arts, Cris received a B.A. in Educational Studies from the University of La Verne.
